Marc Thayer came to Meixell-Diehl in 1985 as a former political science and German major who had explored law school and various other career paths shortly after college.  When he and his wife moved back to central Pennsylvania, Marc was brought into the agency with almost no insurance background and that was start of a career he had never imagined.  After almost 30 years, Marc took the leap into entrepreneurship and purchased the agency in 2014.  Being a business owner in downtown Lewisburg has been a great opportunity for Marc to continue serving the agency's customers, his employees and the community.  Everything he does is driven by his Christian faith, and he always enjoys listening and learning what is going on in others' lives.  Outside of the agency, Marc has been blessed with his wife of 40 years, three children & their spouses, and nine young grandchildren.  He loves spending time with his family, being outdoors, and enjoying the wonders we see around us every day.
